This is one of the frosting recipes that I use; very simple.*
1 C. regular cream cheese (soft)
2 Tbs butter (soft)
2 C. powdered sugar
Beat until smooth. I use this on my 8" layer carrot cake. See the Have Seconds section for some pictures on decorating. Double it for a layer cake.
*This is a picture of the frosting on a round layer carrot cake. Great for birthdays! The recipe was doubled. I took a pastry sleeve and added the yellow dots after coloring them. Hence, the name became "chenille cake."
